Israeli occupation forces (IOF) on Tuesday morning demolished a house and cut down dozens of olive trees in Salfit, north of the West Bank.
Local sources said that IOF bulldozers demolished a house owned by Palestinian citizen Radi Tawfiq in Qarawat Bani Hassan village for allegedly being built without Israeli license.
Confrontations broke out between the IOF soldiers and local youths during the demolition, in which the IOF heavily fired tear gas canisters, stun grenades, and rubber-coated metal bullets.
No injuries were reported.
Meanwhile, the IOF bulldozed vast tracts of Palestinian farmland and destroyed dozens of olive trees in the neighboring village of Deir Istiya.
