Boycott Campaign – Palestine (BCP) has called on the countries and parties that intend to take part in Expo 2020 in Dubai to boycott it and withdraw from it in protest at the participation of the Israeli occupation state.

In a statement released on Wednesday, BCP asked the United Arab Emirates to revoke its decision to allow an Israeli delegation to visit the country and participate in the world expo and to abide by the Arab League boycott of Israel and relevant resolutions taken by the Arab foreign ministers.

“Boycotting the Israeli occupation and confronting all forms of normalization is a collective responsibility and a necessary struggle measure in order to deprive the occupation and its institutions of using the most important tools of its hegemony and control against our societies and capabilities,” BCP said.

It warned that such exhibitions and events are exploited by the occupation state to market itself to the world as “an oasis of peace and coexistence and to cover its daily crimes against the Palestinian people.”
