Nablus, (Alresalah.ps)--The Israeli Salem military court has sentenced a Palestinian child to 4 months in jail, and to pay a fine of NIS 3000 (around $811.248), according to the Palestinian Prisoner’s Society (PPS).
PPS said that 14-year-old Abdel-Jaber Yassin, was detained and beaten by Israeli forces on May 5th 2019 during confrontations in Asera Al Qiblya village, southern Nablus. He sustained minor injuries and transferred for investigation to Arel settlement then was moved to Howara investigation center.
PPS added that the court charged Yassin of hurling stones at Israeli soldiers during confrontations in the village and was moved to infant section in Majedo prison where he was detained twice before getting sentence of 4 months in prison
Yassin's family said that the court charged their child of hurling stones at IOF forces during incursion of the Asera Al Qiblya village.
